Mounted Color Guard

The Mounted Color Guard program is a proud tradition that adds a unique and majestic element to parades and Veteran events. Our Detachment Members have embraced this honor, dedicating themselves to maintaining the dignity and respect of these ceremonies. By participating in numerous Color Guards, both on foot and mounted, our members have not only paid tribute to the nation's heroes but have also connected with communities in a memorable way.

Last year, our Detachment Members contributed approximately 150 hours of volunteer service through their involvement in these events. The sight of our members on horseback, carrying the flags with precision and pride, serves as a powerful symbol of respect and remembrance. This commitment to service reflects our deep appreciation for military veterans and the sacrifices they've made.

The Mounted Color Guard is more than just a display; it's an embodiment of honor, discipline, and patriotism. Each event where our riders participate becomes an opportunity to educate the public about military service and to keep the spirit of patriotism alive. It's a tradition that continues to inspire and unite people, fostering a sense of community and remembrance.
